FEEDER FRICTION 
Determine Resistance at Belt Conveyor Feeders

FEEDER FRICTION accessed from AA_WINBELT menu bar enables determination of the added friction due to a belt feeder or similar feed arrangements if used on a conventional belt conveyor.

FEEDER FRICTION APPLICATION

 Users of AA_WINBELT enter feeder friction as an extra resistance in the section (length) in which it occurs. Other resistances such as idler, impact bed, slope, skirt board, acceleration and flexure are computed from within AA_WINBELT.

FEEDER FRICTION BRIEFLY

Accessed from AA_WINBELT menu bar, drop down from UTILITIES to FEEDER FRICTION. User enters and clicks onto 6 parameters listed under B F GOODRICH METHOD FEEDER FRICTION. Clicking onto COMPUTE lists FRICTION FORCE below.

To properly utilize the information, selected FRICTION FORCE is entered, within the section in which it occurs, in AA_WINBELT at 15 - EXTRA RESISTANCE.
